The effectiveness of the up-kick

If you’ve trained under Jay either at the Academy or online, you’ve undoubtedly done the warm-ups an innumerable amount of times, including the up-kicks.  I am sure there are some who question why they’re on the curriculum, how effective they are, what they have to do with fighting, etc. (I did when I first started training).

Well, here’s one answer to those questions:
